Henrik Aflodal is a full-time spirits writer special- izing in whiskey, having tasted more than 7,000 whiskeys since the 1990s. He is editor-in-chief for e Spirits News and lives in Stockholm, Sweden. Vivian Cromwell is a San Francisco based pho- tographer, writer and visual storyteller. Previously, she had a successful tech career working at both large tech companies as well as founding her own startup. In addition to photography and being a spirits aficionado, Vivian spends her time sup- porting non-profits that help the underrepre- sented groups. Michael Delevante has worked in the liquor industry since 1963, starting with Appleton Rum in Jamaica as Distillery Manager. In 1977 he emigrated to Canada and joined McGuinness Distillers where he was responsible for technical operations in their four plants. In 1992 he started his own consulting group, and has designed and commissioned several craft distilleries producing liqueurs, rum, vodka, gin and whiskeys. Brad Fruhauff is a freelance writer, editor, and ghostwriter with a PhD in English and both a marketing and a literary publishing background. He writes for CraftBrewingBusiness.com and brad-fruhauff.com, and he consults with and solves marketing problems for craft beverage brands. David Furer has worked since 1986 in the adult beverage industries of Europe, Asia and his native USA. He has been involved in communications and marketing of wine, spirits and beer, along with the occasional jaunt into foods and cigars. He is a co-organizer and will be the host of March 2019's Climate Change Wine Leadership Conference in Porto, Portugal. Furer is a regular columnist for France's Sommeliers International and the creator of high-concept alcohol events. He lives in New York's Hudson Valley. Suzanne Henricksen is the founder of e Crafty Cask, a media and consulting company that works solely with craft alcohol producers to refine/tell their story and improve their marketing efforts to grow brands and categories. She has a background in consumer marketing and a passion for craft alcohol education and exploration. Karen Locke is founder of High-Proof Creative (highproofcreative.com), an award-winning branding and marketing agency for the craft spir- its industry. She is author of "High-Proof PDX: A Spirited Guide to Portland's Craft Distilling Scene" was a food and drink writer, and worked at market- ing agencies for nearly 10 years prior to launching High-Proof Creative. Karen has been published by GQ magazine, Bon Appétit, Sip Northwest, and more. Karen joined the Women's Distillery Guild as a board member in 2018, and currently serves on the board of the Portland Culinary Alliance. She is also member of the Women of the Vine & Spirits. Susanne Masters is a botanist specializing in edi- ble plants and their trade around the world. She works with distilleries on ingredient selection and sourcing. Susanne has run workshops and written and spoken about plants in beverages for numer- ous publications and organizations including the Boutique Bar Show, Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, the Royal Horticultural Society, the Open Science Network and the Craft Gin Club. Virginia Miller has been San Francisco editor for Zagat, VP of Content/National Editor at Table8, SF Guardian food/drink critic, Time Out and writes about spirits, cocktails and bars around the world at Liquor.com. Miller also freelances for Food Republic, rillist, Whisky Magazine UK, Paste Magazine, Where Magazine, London Times and Eater, to name a few. Virginia has judged countless food and cocktail competitions and on spirits panels. She shares her favorites in food and drink on her own site, e Perfect Spot. Adam Polonski is ADI's News Editor. He is also the cofounder of Lost Lantern Whiskey, an inde- pendent bottler of American whiskey. He was previously a senior whisky specialist at Whisky Advocate and a senior editor at Market Watch. Seth Schwartz is a freelance writer in Chicago. He writes about food, small business, sailing, sports and is always in search of a good small-business story.
